GBD Directors Elected March 2023

Susan Eslick
- Accounting and bookkeeping consultant for profit businesses
- Recovering creative director/designer

I was part of the formation committee and served on the board for six years in the president and treasurer roles. I would like to be back on the board to help in the renewal process. Seeing the GBD continue for the next 10 years is vitally important to me and for Dogpatch.

Donovan Lacy
North Dogpatch
- Recovering Telecommunication Professional
- Stay at home parent

As an active member of the GBD Board for the last year, I have enjoyed working to continue its legacy of creating and enhancing green spaces and fostering neighborhood engagement.  I am also a member of the DNA and the Potrero Boosters’ Executive Committees focusing my efforts on making our streetscapes safer and more walkable and rideable.  I am a passionate advocate for our neighborhood and committed to improving it, which is why I am running for a second term on the GBD Board.

Patrice Martin
Dogpatch
Co-Founder/CEO of The Holding Co.

I've been a resident of Dogpatch with my husband and 2 daughters since 2013. My parents and my brother (and his dog Norman) also live here and we are all deeply invested in the neighborhood. I'm continually inspired by the work of the GBD and I'd love to contribute more directly to its impact on this community. I'm currently the co-founder of a design studio, The Holding Co. focusing on design for caregiving, where I see the critical need for community spaces. I also co-founded IDEO.org, a non-profit design studio committed to creating a more just and inclusive world.

Richard Romero
Marketing and Sales Manager for the Potrero View Newspaper

I moved here in December 2021 and want to use my experience as a community engagement professional to get more people from the community excited about the great work being done by GB. I am the Marketing and Sales Manager for the Potrero View Newspaper. I believe strongly in the mission of GBD and want to engage more people from the community to share some of their ideas to meet the goals and mission of GBD.

I’m a passionate San Franciscan who believes in the power of connecting and investing in the community, and want ton help grow GBD’s mission throughout the community. I work in commercial real estate and am an active member of SPUR and SF Bicycle Coalition. On the weekend you can find me picking up trash at Crane Cove Park and along the water front.
